Similarly, AI will have a huge impact on coding. Especially, the entry level coding will be wiped out as AI will do it at a much cheaper and better way than human beings. With AI, chips are being designed at an unimaginable speed and with number of formulations, which is difficult for humans to comprehend. On the social side impact of AI, Mr. Rangarajan said people have lost their ability to interact with other human beings. This is going to have major social impact because people are becoming lonely, even though they are connected. While asking young graduates to develop higher order skills, the IISc director said it is important to cherish human relations. “I think it’s very important to connect with your family directly, not through WhatsApp, but by talking to them, so that you cherish that relationship. This is what will set us aside from AI,” he said. He also urged youth to be creative and develop their thinking skills in order in survive in the world of AI. The Atlantic Liberal caucus is calling on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to resign as party leader in a letter expressing “deep concern” about the future of government. The letter dated Dec. 23 was shared publicly Sunday by New Brunswick MP Wayne Long, who has been saying since the fall that Trudeau should step down. Long wrote in a Facebook post that he shared the letter for “openness and transparency.” “If we are to have any chance in the next election, and prevent a Pierre Poilievre government, we need new leadership with a new vision for our party and the country,” Long wrote. Atlantic caucus chair and Nova Scotia MP Kody Blois penned the letter, saying it is no longer “tenable” for Trudeau to continue to lead the party. The letter notes that the country faces “instability” amid U.S. president-elect Donald Trump’s tariff threats and signals from opposition parties that they will declare non-confidence in Trudeau’s government at the first opportunity. The letter thanks Trudeau for his nine years of service as prime minister, saying he leaves a “positive and consequential legacy.” It cautions Trudeau that could be undone if he stays on as leader. The letter comes less than two weeks after Chrystia Freeland’s resignation from Trudeau’s cabinet as finance minister and deputy prime minister. “Our colleagues this morning expressed their deep personal affection for you, their pride in our work as a Liberal team, but also their deep concern that without a leadership change that progress will be lost under a Pierre Poilievre-led government,” Blois wrote to Trudeau. Aaron Rodgers is feeling healthy and will be the New York Jets' starting quarterback as long as that remains the case. Whether he's in the huddle beyond this season is still to be decided — by the Jets and Rodgers. “Football life is interesting because there’s no guarantees,” Rodgers said Wednesday. "Even with injuries, obviously, with contract situations, with age, with coaching changes, new scheme possibly, new system. There’s a lot of unknowns, so that stuff is out of my control. “I’m just going to enjoy these times here and let the future take care of itself.” Interim coach Jeff Ulbrich said Rodgers returned from the team's bye-week break appearing physically refreshed and ready to go. The quarterback was not on the Jets' injury report Wednesday for the first time since Week 4. “Definitely, as long as he’s healthy, my plan is to play him,” Ulbrich said. “And I know talking to him, that’s the way he wants to do it, too.” Rodgers, who turns 41 on Monday, has dealt with various injuries to his left leg, including a sore knee, sprained ankle and balky hamstring. And that’s after coming off a torn Achilles tendon in the same leg that limited him to just four snaps last season. “He’s doing better today than he has for quite a while now,” Ulbrich said. “After my conversations with him the last five or six weeks, he has felt healthier today than he’s felt in that time span.” That echoes what Rodgers said during his weekly appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Tuesday, when he said he “feels good.” Rodgers said he's still contemplating whether he wants to play football next season, but would prefer it be with the Jets if he does return. He reiterated that Wednesday after practice and explained why his tone has changed a bit from a few weeks ago when he said “I think so, yeah,” when he was asked if he planned to play next year. “If you look at what transpired in those two weeks, Joe (Douglas) got axed,” Rodgers said, referring to the Jets' former general manager who was fired last week. "Joe brought me in here. There’s uncertainty with, you know, everybody on the staff, so I’m not naive to what the situation is. And if a new GM comes in and they don’t retain Brick, I have to fit in those plans, so that’s kind of the first part. “Like I said, on ”The Pat McAfee Show," this is my first option. I’d love to play here if I end up deciding to play. But there’s got to be a want for them to want to bring me back, and for me to want to play. But ‘I think so’ was the truth, and ‘I’m not 100% sure’ is also the truth today." Rodgers, who is having a subpar season statistically, has been noticeably affected by his leg ailments — and that's something that could be much improved starting Sunday against Seattle. “I’m super excited about getting him going, whether it’s the keepers, the boots, a little bit more quarterback movement,” Ulbrich said. “Taking advantage of the stuff that he’s done at a Hall of Fame level his entire career. So, excited to see a healthier version of Aaron out there.” There was some speculation that the Jets, who are 3-8 and close to falling mathematically out of the playoff hunt, could opt to sit Rodgers in favor of Tyrod Taylor with his playing future uncertain. “He is a very prideful person,” Ulbrich said. “He wants to finish this thing off right. He wants to celebrate this team that we have and have a good taste in our mouths as we leave this season.” Rodgers has been very complimentary of Ulbrich as a leader, saying he's “definitely all-in” on the interim coach and would like to see him get the full-time job for next season. “Again, that’s out of my control,” Rodgers said. "I mean, I’m not going to say Brick or nothing. I need to see how I’m feeling. Obviously, I would love to play for Brick again. He’s a fantastic human being, but there’s a lot of things that can change in the next six weeks. “There could be some really good feelings coming out of this or there could be wholesale changes — and I might be a part of that.” Those changes could include two coaches Rodgers is closest with in offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett and passing game coordinator Todd Downing. “Them not being here would not be a deal breaker for me,” Rodgers said, “although I obviously love them.” Owner Woody Johnson is using The 33rd Team, with former GMs Mike Tannenbaum and Rick Spielman leading the project, to identify and analyze candidates for the Jets' coach and GM searches. Riley played a massive role in both title pursuits, but he says that the 1980s Lakers would come out on top. Fan question: "Your Heat vs your Lakers at peak who wins?" Pat Riley: "I'll be very honest with you. I think the 'Showtime' team of Scott, Cooper, Magic, Worthy, Kareem. Those five guys. It would be hard for any other five to beat them. I say this because of the greatness of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He was the one guy that you could not guard. You could double him, but you could not guard him. It'd be a great series and I'd go seven with it. Whoever's got the home-court advantage would probably win." Pat Riley has been on some of the greatest teams in NBA history, both as a player and as a coach/executive. Today, he's widely respected across the league for his experience, wisdom, and vast array of accomplishments. Riley's NBA journey began back in 1967 as the 7th overall pick. With 38,387 points scored, Kareem ranks second on the NBA's all-time scoring list. The "big three" Miami Heat may not have quite as much firepower but they could certainly put up a good fight in a hypothetical series. LeBron's arrival in 2010 made the Heat a powerful superteam and, along with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, won two championships for the city in four straight trips to the Finals. The Heat's famed 27-game win streak in 2013 marked the height of their powers and it's a level of dominance that hasn't been replicated since. While that Heat squad did not have Karem Abdul-Jabbar , they did have LeBron James in his prime, who many believe to be the greatest player ever. LeBron certainly would have posed a problem for the Showtime Lakers, but it wouldn't have done much to challenge Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The Heat, who were historically weak at the center position, would have had no answer to Kareem and his dominance on the post. When you look at it like that, it makes sense why Riley chose the Lakers over the Heat. Nowadays, of course, he's a Heat man through and through, but it won't stop him from calling things as he sees them.
