jsbet98 The 27-year-old achieved the feat with a 23-yard run during the fourth quarter of the Eagles’ crushing 41-7 success at Lincoln Financial Field. Barkley is 100 yards short of Eric Dickerson’s record of 2,105 yards, set in 1984 for the Los Angeles Rams, ahead of next week’s regular season finale against the New York Giants. However, he could be rested for that game in order to protect him from injury ahead of the play-offs. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers kept alive their dreams of reaching the play-offs by overcoming the Carolina Panthers 48-14. Veteran quarterback Baker Mayfield produced a dominant performance at Raymond James Stadium, registering five passing touchdowns to equal a Buccaneers franchise record. The Buffalo Bills clinched the AFC conference number two seed for the post season with a 40-14 success over the New York Jets at Highmark Stadium. Josh Allen passed for 182 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for another. Buffalo finish the 2024 regular season undefeated at home, with eight wins from as many games. The Indianapolis Colts’ hopes of reaching the play-offs were ended by a 45-33 defeat to the Giants. Malik Nabers exploded for 171 yards and two touchdowns and Ihmir Smith-Marsette broke a 100-yard kick-off return to give the Giants their highest-scoring output under head coach Brian Daboll. Quarterback Drew Lock threw four touchdown passes and accounted for a fifth on the ground to seal the win. Elsewhere, Mac Jones threw two touchdowns to help the Jacksonville Jaguars defeat the Tennessee Titans 20-13, while the Las Vegas Raiders beat the New Orleans Saints 25-10.

Wales' winless 2024 was completed with a 45-12 defeat to world champions South Africa in Cardiff . Here's everything head coach Warren Gatland had to say... Was that a fair result? "It was a tough game. A really tough game. But I cannot question how hard our players tried out there. I thought they gave absolutely everything. For some of the youngsters and inexperienced players, they’ll learn massively from that game tonight. "We got caught a couple of times, stepped in when we didn’t need to. Hopefully they’ll be better for that the next time and the time after that. But I thought the effort and what the players put in, people should be really proud of that." Are you content with the performance then? "Not content with the result. But I can’t question how hard the players tried. What needs to happen with that is the learnings that go with it. When you play the world champions, you know how clinical they are, how effective they are, the power they can bring off the bench with the 6-2 split. You know the pressure that can bring on us. "For us, it’s going away from this campaign with a few players - not everyone - aware there’s some conditioning work to do, so they’re in better shape for the next campaign. What they learned from tonight’s experience is little things that sides of that quality, they take advantage of and punish you." What does this mean for your future? "We’ll just wait and see what happens in the next couple of days." Get the latest breaking news sent directly to your phone with our free WhatsApp service here. Do you still want to be Wales coach? "I wouldn’t be human if I didn’t say the last few weeks hasn’t been challenging and tough. We’ve questioned ourselves after each game, what could we have done better, what could I have done that better in the week with preparation. "That’s no different to when you’re winning too. You’ll still ask yourself the same questions. It’s seeing what happens over the next few days. Go and chat with the powers that be and also talk to family too." Some people would expect you to be more forthright about wanting to stay... "That’s a fair comment. Like I said, the last couple of weeks have been challenging in terms of the amount of negativity. You’re only human and that has a little bit of an impact on you. You’ve got to assess what’s happened in the last few weeks and talk to the right people. "Look, I’m motivated to want to be here. We’ve got a good group of men working hard over the next few months towards the Six Nations , they’re only going to get better. When you ask those questions, I feel like I’m in a no-win situation about what answer I give. "It’s almost like when I answer these questions, it’s almost like I’m being defiant on what things we need to get better at, and I know we can get better at certain things. I do definitely want to be here and it’s just about letting the dust settle over the next few days, talking to people about the best thing. Talking to people in the Union too." Was the resignation offer after the Italy game genuine? "It was." Have you offered it again since? "I haven’t." Why not? "The difference is I think the Six Nations is different. That’s a competition. Traditionally, we’ve used the the autumn as part of the development. You’re not playing for points every week. I understand how important the Six Nations is to the Union, not just from a results point of view, but financially as well. "I’ve been around the game long enough to know results and performances are important. I was genuine about that. You probably approach the autumn a little bit differently. We have done that traditionally in the past, looking to develop players in the squad and give them times to prepare for the Six Nations." Has there been any discussion of you staying involved but moving upstairs? "My wife said that to me this morning! Have you thought about doing some stuff? There are a number of things that hopefully have been talked about. Strategy, that relationship and the deal with the regions. For a long time, I think there have been issues within the game. "The success we’ve had in the past has probably papered over some of those cracks. We’ve talked about the dam bursting and it has. It’s going to take a little time to fix it and get back on track. Whether people give you that time and patience to do that. "What I saw today from this group of young men and players, it gave me a lot of positive hope that there is an opportunity for us to improve and get better for the Six Nations in terms of the learnings from this campaign. Turning up in a couple of months time, ready to go for the Six Nations." Where does Welsh rugby go now? What are the priorities to fix first? "It’s amazing what a difference just over 12 months can do. You lose all those caps and all that experience, it has been challenging. There’s no doubt about that. I think for us, from a Union’s perspective, there needs to be agreement with the regions. There needs to be some change. "I’ve gone into board meetings and spoken about us being courageous and bold with some of the decisions we potentially need to make to improve the game. I think there needs to be investment into the the pathways, the academies and U20s programme. That should be the lifeblood of the game in Wales. Since we disbanded the national academy in 2015, we’re probably a reflection of how the U20s programme hasn’t been as successful from that. "Those are the players that are coming through to us now. They’ve had some good years. We need to make sure there are things to put in place. I know the Union are talking about the strategy. There needs to be an agreement between the Union and regions to put some positive steps in place and affect change. It’ll take some time. It won’t happen overnight. I came away from today thinking, if these group of players can learn from today and put that amount of effort in, there’s some hope going forward." Are you happy with the changes you’re hearing about behind the scenes, in terms of the new strategy? "I think so. There’s been negotiations going on. They haven’t concluded yet, but some of the things the Union are trying to put in place will definitely make a change, depending on how radical those things are and how much influence we’re going to have to help implement those things. It’s a case of negotiations continuing. Hopefully those things get put in place." How do you go about improving the physicality of this team? "I think that’s some of the conditioning side of things, continuing to work on those technical aspects. I think that, when we’ve planned things in the past and gone through cycles, our whole thing has been about building towards World Cups. What’s tended to happen in the past is you get those four months together. "You might lose three or four players at the start of the cycle and you replace them, but you finish a World Cup normally with a squad you hope will be around for the next cycle, so the change-over is slow and moderate. The players coming through at the bottom are just filtered in and the transition is easy. "After the World Cup last year, that’s been a real challenge for us, losing all the players we did and the experience. It takes time and it’s hard to replace overnight. I understand there’s a lot of expectations about us doing that. But it takes a bit of time to be able to do that. We haven’t had that luxury of being together as a squad and having those transitions in an implemented way through the next cycle."

Sean “Diddy” Combs is using the “But Donald Trump ” defense in his latest bid for a bail release in time for Thanksgiving. Combs’ lawyers have already tried several times to get the incarcerated ex-mogul out on bail . But when prosecutors argued against his latest attempt, making the case that Combs had been trying to influence jurors from behind prison walls, his team cited Trump’s defense that he reserves the right to “criticize and speak out against the prosecution and the criminal trial process that seek to take away his liberty,” in a few filing . “The court should apply Trump’s heightened standard when considering Mr. Combs’ speech,” Combs’ attorney team claims. ADVERTISEMENT Combs was arrested on September 16 in the lobby of a Manhattan hotel, and has remained in prison while awaiting a May 5, 2025 trial for his three-count indictment on racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution charges. Between the raids on his home and the many lawsuits accusing him of sexual and physical abuse and forcible drugging, Combs’ legal troubles have been at the center of the news cycle for nearly a year. Citing Trump’s legal defense at length in the new filing, Combs’ lawyers drew a comparison to the “PR campaign” the prosecution accuses him of running from jail to woo jurors to Trump’s defense of his own comments regarding Trump v. United States , the case that would have evaluated his alleged attempts to overturn the 2020 election, before those charges were dropped on Monday . Trump constantly shared public thoughts on the trial via social media, raising the question of whether those comments constituted obstruction of justice. Trump’s team argued , however, that “Only a significant and imminent threat to the administration of criminal justice will support restricting Mr. Trump’s speech.” Combs said that defense should apply to him as well, as his comments about “being a ‘revolutionary’ or about a ‘racist’ prosecution involves thoughts ‘that this prosecution is politically motivated or that he is innocent of the charges against him’—core protected speech,” his lawyers wrote in the filing. On that point, Combs’ defense concludes, “The government is essentially arguing for a standard in which the entire Press community—and civil plaintiffs and the government itself—can wage war against Mr. Combs’ reputation but Mr. Combs can’t even try to influence public opinion himself in response,” which, they write, “is simply not the law.”Treysen Eaglestaff scores 19 as North Dakota cruises past Waldorf College 97-57

‘Gladiator II’ review: Are you not moderately entertained?Bighorn sheep hunters in backcountry areas would be required to report their success within 24 hours under a proposed amendment suggested by Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission vice chairman Pat Tabor. The commission will meet virtually on Thursday, Dec. 19, beginning at 8:30 a.m. The meeting will be streamed live on Fish, Wildlife & Parks' website and YouTube. Tabor has previously expressed concern some hunters are taking advantage of unlimited bighorn sheep hunting units. In these areas, hunting tags can be purchased over the counter instead of through drawings in which success rates are low. His proposed amendment would also require FWP to close the season within 24 hours after the backcountry quotas are met and to require head and cape inspection within 48 hours. Right now, the seasons are closed within 48 hours and the inspection is required within 72 hours. The proposed amendment stated the current regulation "leaves potential for the season to remain open for 96 hours or four days after the quota is met. This unnecessarily increases the potential for each unit to go over quota. This original timeline was established when technology was extremely limited. With technological advances it has become easier for hunters to check in and report their harvest. This new technology enables hunters to communicate from anywhere in the world including the deepest parts of the Beartooth mountain range, primarily through text. The additional time for inspection is to allow more time to exit the backcountry." Last December Tabor attempted to remove the ability for bighorn sheep hunters in unlimited backcountry areas to purchase a bonus point. Bonus points are designed to make it easier for a hunter to win a tag through the state's drawing system. At last year's meeting, Craig Neal, who has guided bighorn sheep hunting in unlimited districts for Broken Hart Adventures outfitting in Townsend since the 1990s, said some hunters are selling waypoints to where the big rams can be found as well as hunt plans. He also said some hunters after harvesting a ram are waiting to report the kill to allow another hunter to shoot a ram before the quota is registered as full. According to information provided by FWP, from 2007-2019 an average of 225 licenses were sold annually in HDs 500, 501 and 502 — backcountry bighorn sheep units in the Beartooth Mountains — yet only 156 hunters went into the districts. In 2024 the quota in HD 500 was filled with two rams. Since 2008, the quota has been exceeded twice, met 10 times and unfilled five times. In HD 501 the quota of two rams was exceeded with three killed in 2024. Since 2008 the quota has been exceeded three times, met seven times and unfilled six times. In HD 501, the quota of two rams was exceeded in 2024 with four killed. Since 2008 the quota has been exceeded five times, met twice and unfilled nine times. “While quota overruns do occur, they are relatively rare and seldom significant,” Region 5 wildlife biologist Shawn Stewart wrote in his analysis last year. "These quota overruns average out over time and the quotas are conservative to allow for the possibility of overrun.” The amendment was not requested by FWP, which wrote it does not expect any "population level impacts" from the change, if approved. Those who want to make a comment on Zoom must register on FWP’s website by noon on Dec. 18. Written comment on most agenda items were accepted through Nov. 27. Other topics the commission will address include regulations requiring anglers who catch smallmouth bass on Placid Lake to catch, kill and report the nonnative fish; amendments to allow black bear hunters in backcountry units in the upper Flathead drainage more time, along with other quota changes for antelope, bighorn sheep, deer and elk in specific hunting districts. For the full agenda , background on the scheduled topics and public comments, go to the Fish and Wildlife Commission page on the FWP website. This is how chatbots like ChatGPT workOTTAWA — CBC President Catherine Tait accused MPs who summoned her to Ottawa on Monday of hurling “insults” her way to try to discredit the public broadcaster. That day marked the fifth time she had appeared before the parliamentary committee on Canadian Heritage within the past 12 months. What began as a cross-partisan summoning of Tait to answer for job cuts announced last year while at the same time CBC/Radio-Canada’s board of directors approved paying out millions in bonuses, including to executives, had by Monday devolved into a testy confrontation. “Would you categorize your term at the CBC as a success?” Opposition house leader Andrew Scheer asked the outgoing CBC president. “Yes,” Tait replied. “So you believe that you’ve left it in a better place than how you found it?” Scheer asked. “Absolutely,” came the swift response. “You must have quite the echo chamber there if you believe that,” Scheer said, as he accused her of being “out of touch,” saying the corporation paid out executive bonuses during an affordability crisis while laying off staff. He also said other metrics were down, including trust in the institution. “Based on all of that, Ms. Tait, I just want to say on behalf of the Conservative party, I want to thank you for your efforts in helping us promote the campaign to defund the CBC.” Tait responded by saying: “I must say that it really does shock me, the extent to which certain members of this committee ... seem to make me the target and throw insults to my tenure at CBC/Radio-Canada in order to discredit the organization.” While it may be insulting to hear the dollar amounts about executive bonuses, Scheer said, “I’ll tell you who is really insulted: the front-line workers that were laid off when the CBC was claiming it didn’t have enough money to keep that entire workforce.” Tait said that of the 800 jobs the CBC had forecast to cut, it used the extra $42 million the Liberals gave the corporation in its latest budget to save many of them. It ultimately cut around 141 jobs and eliminated another 200 vacant positions. She delivered an impassioned defence of the corporation’s services during what was her fifth such appearance before the Commons committee on Canadian Heritage within the past year. Following her appearance, Opposition Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre’s office circulated a statement pointing out how Tait had once refused to rule out accepting a bonus herself, which has been the subject of previous committee meetings. Tait told MPs she has not received one for the past two fiscal years, saying the decision to award her one lies with the federal government. The Liberals rely on a recommendation from the corporation’s board of directors. CBC/Radio-Canada has declined to say whether it has, citing privacy. Poilievre has long promised to “defund” the roughly $1 billion in funding the corporation receives annually from Parliament, criticizing it as a waste of taxpayer dollars and accusing the broadcaster of operating with a “bias” toward the governing Liberals. Tait in past testimony has pointed out the corporation operates independently from government and its editorial independence is enshrined in laws. Despite his vocal criticisms, Poilievre has pledged to keep Francophone news services. How exactly he plans to do that remains unclear, given how on Monday Tait outlined to MPs how CBC and Radio-Canada “are not two separate companies.” The committee heard how the corporation divides its annual funding from Parliament between its English and French services, with its English services receiving around 56 per cent and French services some 44 per cent. “That’s where the division stops,” said Tait. “These are not two separate companies. They are one with obviously very profound editorial independence, but with a shared infrastructure.” Luc Berthold, the Conservatives’ deputy house leader in Parliament, suggested to Tait that its English programming was dragging down the French service, Radio-Canada, because it was spending more money on CBC, saying in French that Radio-Canada was “really exemplary in being a public broadcaster in our region.” Responding in French, Tait suggested his proposal would mean the broadcaster only deliver services to a minority of Canadians. “Are we going to ask all Canadians to support an organization for only 20 per cent of the population?” she asked. Under questioning by Liberals, Tait outlined the possible impacts of losing CBC’s English services, saying it would deprive most Canadians of access to local news, including in many rural areas. Not only would it also mean losing upwards of 3,500 employees, it would hurt the “thousands” of musicians, authors and others in the fields of arts and production, who rely on the corporation to help promote their work, Tait testified. Cutting CBC English would also result in taking away the ability for Indigenous people living in the North to “hear their news in their languages,” given how it broadcasts in different Indigenous languages. “There is no common sense for eliminating CBC,” Tait said. “We do not see defunding the CBC as a solution, we see it as making Canada worse, not better.” Poilievre himself often wields the term “common sense” as a slogan to describe his plans to restore the country back to what he says was a better time, before Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberals were elected in 2015, saying the PM has taken Canada down a “radical” path.” Tait at times acknowledged that not all Canadians like CBC, but defended the corporation as trying to listen to those voices by deciding to give more resources to newsrooms in Western Canada to create more content like local podcasts. Tait is soon set to step down as CBC/Radio-Canada president after six years. Quebec television executive Marie-Philippe Bouchard has been appointed as her replacement, effective January 2025. In 2020, fans experienced the heartbreaking news that one of their top series, Criminal Minds, had been canceled after fifteen seasons. When the show received a reboot two years later, not all of the cast returned. Criminal Minds: Evolution brought back some of our favorite profilers, only one of whom had been with the show since the beginning and a few who replaced original team members who had left before the show ended. One of the most significant losses in the show’s history was that of boy-wonder Dr. Reid Spencer, played by Matthew Gray Gubler. During the fifteen-year original run of Criminal Minds , Reid played the nerdy academic with an eidetic memory and a brilliance for profiling criminals. Fans adored the awkward genius that was Dr. Spencer Reid, whether it was his close relationship with J.J. (A.J. Cook) and her sons, his bromance with former BAU member Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore), or his little brother vibes with tech analyst Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness). As the youngest, socially awkward member of the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit, Reid gave the team a familial closeness that we lack with the Criminal Minds reboot. His brilliance was often the missing piece in the case, usually delivered in a diatribe of long-winded dialogue that educated the audience and bored his teammates. But while he was a fantastic FBI agent — and lecturer once he left the BAU to pursue other career opportunities — Reid was an even better friend and son to his mentally ill mother (Jane Lynch), who spent the majority of the show in a mental institution. Reid’s fear of genetically inheriting schizophrenia deeply affected him throughout his time with the BAU, occasionally leading to irrational behaviors and out-of-character decisions. We often saw Reid when he was emotionally vulnerable, reminding us of how young he was compared to the rest of the team. But his aversion to technology — technophobe — also gave him the air of a man from a different time. Seeing him still diving into dusty old books and crisp paper files in stiff manilla folders while everyone else used iPads and email was special for someone his age. However, despite his youth, Spencer’s insights were invaluable to the team. He helped solve dozens of crimes, first under mentor Jason Gideon (Mandy Patinkin) and then under team leader Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson). When Criminal Minds received its cancelation order, Gubler decided to retire Dr. Reid to the academic system, leaving the actor with time to try other creative endeavors. Due to Gubler’s schedule conflicts, he was not available to return to the series when the show received a reboot to stream on Paramount+ two years after getting axed. However, things have finally aligned to give fans the reunion we’ve dreamed of since Criminal Minds: Evolution began. Reid is coming home. But before you get too excited, we must note that his appearance is not permanent. I repeat, Dr. Spencer Reid will not return to Criminal Minds: Evolution full-time. Sadly, we’re only getting a single episode appearance of our favorite tweed-wearing brainiac. The relaunch sets Reid up for special appearances, with the storyline that he’s away on a special mission with another absentee BAU agent, Special Agent Matt Simmons (Daniel Henney). While we haven’t heard anything about Henney ( The Wheel of Time ) returning to the show in any capacity, his storyline is open should he ever want to appear as Gubler will in Criminal Minds: Evolution Season 3. Fans will have to make do with the return of former Criminal Minds: Evolution team members Jennifer Jareau (Cook), Garcia (Vangsness), Tara Lewis (Aisha Tyler), Luke Alvez (Adam Rodriguez), David Rossi (Joe Mantegna) and led by Emily Prentiss ( Paget Brewster ). Criminal Minds: Evolution Season 3 (Criminal Minds Season 18) will welcome a newcomer, Dr. Ochoa (Aimee Garcia). Garcia is most known as Ella Lopez on Lucifer . While we’ll only get Reid back for one episode (so far), fans of Gubler can also catch him in his newest role on Einstein . Gubler is set to resume a role similar to Spencer Reid as Lew Einstein, a brilliant professor who forgets he has to follow the same rules as everyone else, leading him into trouble with the law. He’s also the great-grandson of Albert Einstein. But he’s not the only former Criminal Minds actor to score the main role in a show. CM fans’ first taste of heartbreak came when we said goodbye to Derek Morgan. Moore left to star as Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson in the CBS S.W.A.T. reboot . Since S.W.A.T. is in its eighth and final season, hopefully, Moore will find some free time to briefly visit Criminal Minds: Evolution to give fans a look at Derek Morgan years after his BAU exit. While we know Reid is returning briefly, news of how the show will approach his character’s return is kept secret. How fun, but how agonizing for the wait! Since Spencer is away on a secret assignment, the show can incorporate him into the new storyline through a shared case. He could come to the BAU with a case he needs their help to solve. The team could also stumble onto a case he’s secretly working on, forcing them to work together. Or maybe they end up with an old case they must re-examine, one that Reid played a big part in solving. I could think of several cases that might make excellent revisits. Even more appealing could be if Spencer has to work against the BAU in some way. He could be undercover or have a different mission outcome. The BAU could be after one specific person, but Reid’s team wants to leave him in play to get to the bigger bad person. A much sadder storyline could be that Spencer’s character becomes a victim of a crime that the BAU must solve. Perhaps we finally see Dr. Reid’s death, which is a guaranteed way to make a case personal for the BAU. It could also make a great setup for other character returns, like Spencer’s mom (Lynch), Derek Morgan (Moore), or Dr. Jill Gideon (Felicity Huffman), wife of Reid’s deceased mentor. It would be great to see Jane Lynch reprise her role as Reid’s mentally ill mother again. She’s been great on Only Murders in the Building ; however, something about her performance as Diana Reid has stuck in my mind for decades. The greatest concern about bringing Reid back (besides killing him off) is the reunion. Will we get an incredible (almost) full-team reconciliation? Or will we have to settle for seeing him with a few of the team, possibly agents with whom he’s not as close, like Alvarez and Lewis? Given how many networks manage their budgets by focusing on character-driven stories and limited characters per scene, it doesn’t bode well for our dream gathering. Maybe Reid comes in to work with the dangerous serial killer Voight, who we know will be returning for the third season of Criminal Minds: Evolution. Or maybe he’ll tap BAU’s newest asset, Tyler Green, for help with his secret project. We must see Spenc and Garcia back together again. But even more than that, this viewer demands a moving scene between Spencer and J.J. Word in the TV world is that Criminal Minds: Evolution Season 3 will be character-centric on Tara Lewis and Jennifer Jareau. If that’s true, we must wonder how Reid’s appearance will affect JJ’s story, especially after learning that we’ll no longer see her on-screen husband, Will LaMontagne Jr (Josh Stewart), who exited the show after Criminal Minds Season 16 . Could we finally see something romantic between the two after nearly two decades? Or will they retain their overly close friendship? How about Reid visiting J.J.’s boys, who he was close with while with the BAU? So, how do you think Spencer Reid will return to Criminal Minds? How in-depth do you want them to go for only a short visit? Are you among the lovers or the disillusioned after the announcement of his brief return? Watch Criminal Minds OnlineAgora, Inc.
