The Turkish state also is pressuring other governments to “stop any support and any tolerance of Kurdish issues”. Former US president Jimmy Carter has died aged 100. Mr Carter, a former peanut farmer, served one term in the White House between 1977 and 1981, taking over in the wake of the Watergate scandal and the end of the Vietnam War. After his defeat by Ronald Reagan, he spent his post-presidency years as a global humanitarian, winning the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002. His death on Sunday was announced by his family and came more than a year after he decided to enter hospice care. He was the longest-lived US president. Bokaro: Giridih district police have apprehended three individuals who operated as cybercriminals by impersonating as electricity department officials. The culprits used to extort money from citizens by threatening to cut off their power supply. The suspects were caught near Aahardih within Gandey police station jurisdiction, Giridih SP Vimal Kumar said on Sunday. The accused persons are Pankaj Kumar Mandal, Deepak Mandal, and Kailash Mandal, all hailing from Ahilyapur in Giridih district. The authorities seized three mobile phones, SIM cards, and a four wheeler from their possession. Records indicate that Kailash has previous criminal charges against him at the Giridih cyber police station. Following intelligence reports about cybercriminal activities, police conducted a raid to nab the culprits. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Whoever ends up coaching the Jacksonville Jaguars next season, receiver Brian Thomas Jr. will be the team's most dynamic rebuilding piece. Mac Jones threw two touchdown passes, including his fifth in as many games to Thomas , and the Jaguars beat the Tennessee Titans 20-13 in the rain Sunday to sweep the season series for just the fourth time in 30 years. Jones completed 15 of 22 passes for 174 yards, with most of those going to Thomas. The first-round draft pick from LSU finished with seven receptions for 91 yards.
